Dr Dion Noovao

Dr. Dion Noovao is a highly respected orthopaedic surgeon with over a decade of surgical experience, known for his commitment to providing personalised care that meets the unique needs of each patient. He prioritises patient education, ensuring they fully understand their conditions and recovery timelines, and places them at the centre of the decision-making process for their long-term health.
Dr. Noovao’s foundation of expertise stems from his comprehensive medical training in New Zealand, where he earned his Fellowship with the Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012. He pursued further specialisation with fellowships in foot, ankle, and upper limb surgery in New Zealand, followed by a 12-month fellowship in Brisbane in 2013.
In 2015, he completed a prestigious fellowship in trauma and lower limb deformity correction at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Making an Appointment
Please have your referral and x-ray or scan reports sent through to our email: admin@lakesideorthopaedics.com.au or fax: 07 5391 1732.
Your referral, scans & reports will be reviewed and triaged by Dr Noovao. According to the urgency of your condition, our office will then contact you with an appointment date. If you do not hear from us one week after sending your referral, please phone or email our rooms.
Once an appointment has been booked with you, you will receive an email confirming all the details and referrals for further investigations if they are required. We will also attach send an information form with fee information and secure link to our Patient Registration Form.
Our team would appreciate if you could return your completed form or alternatively bring it with you to save time on the day.

- Name of radiology clinic/s where relevant imaging has been performed for online viewing
- Current Medicare Card
- Health Fund Details

Please note:
Unfortunately, there is no patient parking available in the Pulse Oceanside building. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Convenient parking options can be found in multi-story car parks nearby (Secure Parking Oceanside or Point Parking at both SCUH & SCUPH), and in certain paid street parking areas.
For the most convenient drop-off location for your appointment, we recommend utilising the ground floor inside the Pulse Oceanside building.
